Each year, the students are taken on a "Big Trip" at the completion of the summer phase.  The trips are chosen based on the educational factor, as well as the thought of the students experiencing something that many have never had the opportunity to experience. This years trip took us to St. Louis, Missouri.  Home of the famous St. Louis Arch.  Here we ate breakfast on the McDonald's resturant boat, docked there in the Mississippi River.  Following breakfast, we visited many sites in the city of St. Louis.  The FINAL destination was that nights baseball game.  The St. Louis Cardinals vs. The  Los Angels Dodgers.  Where we had the opportunity to see Mark McGwire hit three homeruns, winning the game...

This is Cory Ruttan.  Cory was one of the FUNNIEST students we had in the summer phase.   I hate that I did not get the chance to catch his humor until the end of the program.  He is also a really good writer.  Keep it up Cor!!!!
